Delhi – Jaipur - Agra

Trip Overview

On this trip you will get to experience intensive North India. From the modern city of Delhi to the traditional and medieval-looking pink city Jaipur. In addition, you will visit famous monuments such as the Taj Mahal, the Palace of the Winds and the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Meet the wonderful India between legends, dream and reality.

Discover the spectacular sights of India's famed Golden Triangle including the Pink City of Jaipur and Agra - home to the magnificent Taj Mahal and both old and New Delhi.

Day 01 :Flight to Delhi

On arrival you will be received by a representative at the airport.Depending on your arrival you will be transferred to the hotel in Delhi or the tour begins.Namaste and Welcome in India.

Day 02 :Delhi- Jaipur (approx. 260 Kms.)

Upon arrival into Delhi, we drive to Jaipur. Affectionately known as the Pink City as Maharaja Jai Singh had all of the Old City painted a welcoming pink in 1876 to herald a visit by the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII), it is also the bustling capital of the state of Rajasthan. We enjoy a tour of the City Palace, (watch out for snake charmers that dot our route) and Jantar Mantar - an old yet cleverly designed space observatory. Overnight - Jaipur

Day 03 :Amber Fort, Elephants

Early-risers can opt for a morning hot air balloon ride over Jaipur, and sail over hilltop forts, regal palaces, sleepy villages, and stone carved temples. After we travel beyond Jaipur to the stunning 16th century Amber Fort - a sprawling Rajput concoction which hugs the hill on which it was built and overlooks the hot plains below. We’ll ascend the road leading to the palace in princely style, aboard Indian elephants, - subject to regulations/availability as the elephants are limited to the number of trips that can make up the fort each day. Arriving at the top we'll tour the fort’s well-preserved interior and grounds. After we stop at a cotton weaving house to see a demonstration of fabric dyeing and block printing before returning to Jaipur, evening at leisure. Overnight - Jaipur

Day 04 :Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (approx. 235 km)

Jaipur - Agra. En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a insufficient supply of water. Rest of the at leisure Overnight - Agra.

Day 05 :Agra

After breakfast visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love and remains one of India’s most enduring symbols. The tomb was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Then we visit the impressive Agra Fort. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight - Agra

Day 06 :Agra - Delhi.

After breakfast we return to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, we’ll enjoy sightseeing tour of Delhi. Tonight, we enjoy a Namaste Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight - Delhi and transfer to Airport for your flight back home.
